Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients:

For the Pork Tenderloin:

1 lbs 700g pork tenderloin

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

teaspoon black pepper

teaspoon smoked paprika

teaspoon garlic powder

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

cup honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

1 tablespoon butter

Directions:


Preheat the Oven:

Set your oven to 375F 190C. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.

Prepare the Pork Tenderloin:

Pat the pork dry with paper towels. Rub it evenly with olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.

Sear the Pork:

Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork on all sides for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes.

Simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in butter and remove from heat.

Roast the Pork:

Brush half of the honey garlic sauce over the pork. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145F 63C.

Rest and Serve:

Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Drizzle with the remaining honey garlic sauce and serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice.
