Ingredients:

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

9 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Directions:


Sear the Chicken:

In a large skillet or pot, heat butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add diced chicken, season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes, and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.

Remove chicken and set aside.

Build the Sauce:

In the same pan, add garlic and sauté until fragrant about 30 seconds.

Stir in cherry tomatoes and cook until softened.

Pour in heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and onion powder, stirring well.

Cook the Tortellini:

Add tortellini directly into the pan, stir, and cover.

Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tortellini is tender.

Finish & Serve:

Return cooked chicken to the pan.

Stir in Parmesan cheese and fresh basil until combined.

Serve hot and enjoy!
