Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry Stacks 燎肋
Ingredients:
For the Pastry:
1 sheet puff pastry thawed
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese 燎
1/2 cup diced ham 肋
1 egg beaten for egg wash 讀
For Garnish:
Fresh chives chopped
Black pepper 蓼
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Puff Pastry:
Preheat your oven to 200C 400F. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into equal-sized squares.
2. Assemble the Stacks:
On half of the squares, layer grated cheddar cheese and diced ham. Top with another square of puff pastry. Seal the edges by pressing lightly with a fork.
3. Egg Wash:
Brush the tops of the stacks with beaten egg for a golden finish.
4. Bake:
Place the stacks on a lined baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
5. Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with freshly chopped chives and a dash of black pepper. Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, flaky goodness!
