Stuffed Bell Peppers with Ground Beef and Rice
Ingredients:
4 large bell peppers any color
500g ground beef
1 cup cooked rice
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Peppers:
Preheat your oven to 180C 350F.
Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.
2. Cook the Filling:
In a skillet, cook the ground beef with onion and garlic until browned.
Add the cooked rice, tomato sauce, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Stuff the Peppers:
Fill each bell pepper with the beef and rice mixture. Place them upright in a baking dish.
4. Bake:
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil, top each pepper with shredded cheese, and bake for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
