Soft Sugar Cookies With White Chocolate, Almonds, and Cranberries
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup sliced almonds
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract; mix until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in cranberries, white chocolate chips, and sliced almonds.
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
Let cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
