The Original Fantasy Fudge

Ingredients:

3 cups granulated sugar

3/4 cup unsalted butter

2/3 cup evaporated milk

1 jar 7 oz marshmallow crème

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans optional

Instructions:


Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.

In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Stir over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Once it reaches a rolling boil, cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and stir in the marshmallow crème and vanilla extract until smooth.

Add the chocolate chips and stir until fully melted and smooth. If using, fold in the chopped walnuts or pecans.

Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

Cut into small squares and enjoy!
