Candy Cane Fudge

Ingredients:

3 cups white chocolate chips

1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

1/2 cup crushed candy canes

Red food coloring optional

Instructions:


Line an 8×8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper or foil.

In a medium saucepan, heat the sweetened condensed milk over low heat. Add the white chocolate chips and stir continuously until melted and smooth.

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and peppermint extracts.

Pour the melted white chocolate mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer.

Sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the top of the fudge, gently pressing them in with a spatula. If desired, add a few drops of red food coloring and swirl it with a toothpick for a festive look.

Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

Once set, cut the fudge into small squares and serve!
