Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole
Ingredients:
– 1 24 oz bag frozen cheese ravioli
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 small onion, diced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 24 oz jar marinara sauce
– 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup ricotta cheese
– 1 cup sour cream
– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Add the diced onion and garlic, and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Prepare the Creamy Mixture:
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ricotta cheese, sour cream, and half of the shredded mozzarella. Mix until smooth and well combined.
4. Assemble the Casserole:
Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of the greased baking dish. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce. Spoon half of the creamy cheese mixture over the ravioli, spreading it evenly. Repeat with another layer of meat sauce, ravioli, and the remaining cheese mixture.
5. Top with Cheese:
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top of the casserole.
6. Bake:
Cover the casserole with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
7. Serve:
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
