Bread Maker Doughnuts

Ingredients:

3/4 cup milk, warmed

1/4 cup water, warmed

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 tsp salt

2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

Oil for frying


Powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or glaze for topping

Instructions:

Add milk, water, butter, egg, flour, sugar, salt, and yeast to your bread maker in the order recommended by the manufacturer.

Set the machine to the “”dough”” setting and let it run its cycle.

Once complete, roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2-inch thickness.

Use a donut cutter or two round cutters to form doughnut shapes. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pan to 375F 190C. Fry doughnuts until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.

Drain on paper towels and coat with powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or glaze while warm.
