Would you eat this Sliced Baked Potatoes ?

Ingredients:

4 large russet potatoes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

teaspoon dried thyme

cup shredded cheddar cheese optional

cup grated Parmesan cheese optional

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Sour cream or ranch dressing for serving

Directions:


Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400F 200C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Potatoes: Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Using a sharp knife, slice each potato thinly, making sure not to cut all the way throughleave about inch intact at the bottom to keep the potato whole.

Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and thyme.

Brush & Bake: Place the sliced potatoes on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each potato generously with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring the butter gets between the slices.

First Bake: Bake for 40 minutes, brushing with additional butter mixture halfway through.

Add Cheese Optional: If using cheese, sprinkle shredded cheddar and Parmesan over the potatoes and return them to the oven. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until crispy and golden brown.

Garnish & Serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot with sour cream or ranch dressing. Enjoy!
