Would you eat this Cheesy Bacon Beast ?
Ingredients:
1 lbs ground beef 80/20 blend for best flavor
8 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
cup shredded mozzarella cheese
teaspoon salt
teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons BBQ sauce optional, for extra flavor
4 brioche burger buns
4 slices cheddar cheese
cup crispy fried onions optional
cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Directions:
Prepare the Beef Mixture:
In a large bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
Divide the beef into 8 equal portions.
Stuff the Burgers:
Flatten each portion into a thin patty.
In the center of 4 patties, place a mixture of shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and crumbled bacon.
Place the remaining 4 patties on top and seal the edges tightly to create stuffed burgers.
Cook the Burgers:
Preheat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
Cook burgers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160F 71C.
In the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top to melt.
Assemble the Burgers:
Toast brioche buns for extra flavor.
Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on the bottom bun.
Place the stuffed burger on top, followed by crispy fried onions and BBQ sauce if desired.
Top with the other bun and serve immediately!
