Winter Cranberry Sangria

Ingredients:

1 bottle 750 ml of red wine, chilled

1/2 cup cranberry liqueur or cranberry juice

1/4 cup brandy

1/4 cup orange liqueur such as Triple Sec or Cointreau

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup adjust to taste

1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

1 orange, thinly sliced

1 cinnamon stick


1/4 teaspoon ground cloves optional

1/2 cup club soda, chilled

Ice cubes

Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish optional

Instructions:

Combine the Base Ingredients: In a large pitcher, mix the red wine, cranberry liqueur or juice, brandy, orange liqueur, and honey or maple syrup. Stir well until fully combined.

Add the Fruit and Spices: Add the cranberries, orange slices, cinnamon stick, and ground cloves if using to the pitcher. Stir gently to incorporate.

Chill the Sangria: Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 4 hours, to allow the flavors to meld together.

Add Club Soda and Serve: Just before serving, stir in the chilled club soda for a light and bubbly finish.

Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour the sangria over the ice. Garnish with extra cranberries, a slice of orange, or a sprig of fresh rosemary for a festive touch.
