White Chocolate Strawberry Cream Donuts
Ingredients
For the Donuts:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder 籠
1/2 tsp salt 蓼
1/2 cup whole milk 拏
2 large eggs 讀讀
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 杻
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Filling:
1 cup heavy cream 拏
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup strawberry jam
1/2 cup chopped strawberries
For the Topping:
1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
Pink food coloring optional
Directions
1 Preheat: Set oven to 350F 175C and grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
2 Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3 Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
4 Combine & Bake: Gradually add wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until just combined. Fill the donut pan halfway with batter. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let donuts cool completely.
5 Prepare Filling: In a bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in strawberry jam and chopped strawberries.
6 Assemble Donuts: Slice each donut in half horizontally. Fill with the strawberry cream mixture.
7 Add Topping: Drizzle melted white chocolate over each donut. For a touch of color, add a few drops of pink food coloring to the melted chocolate before drizzling.
Serve: Let the donuts set for a few minutes, then enjoy!
