Whipped Shortbread Cookies – Dont LOSE this Recipe

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup powdered sugar

– 1/2 cup cornstarch

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.

2. Gradually add in the all-purpose flour and cornstarch, mixing until just combined.


3. Preheat your oven to 350F 175C.

4. Use a small cookie scoop or a tablespoon to drop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

5. Optionally, press each cookie down gently with the tines of a fork or your fingers to flatten slightly.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for around 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are just starting to turn a light golden brown.

7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
