Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie-Stuffed Soft Pretzels 泌

Soft pretzels meet gooey chocolate chip cookies in this sweet and salty treatperfect when served warm!

Ingredients:

For the Pretzels:

1 cups warm water

2 tbsp light brown sugar

2 tsp active dry yeast 1 packet

cup unsalted butter 1 stick, melted

1 tsp sea salt

4 – 5 cups all-purpose flour

1 egg, beaten

Coarse sea salt for sprinkling

For the Cookie Dough:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 cup salted butter 2 sticks, softened

cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

3 tsp vanilla extract

2 eggs

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Mix warm water, sugar, yeast, and melted butter. Let sit for 5 minutes.

Add salt and flour to the yeast mixture, knead until smooth. Let dough rise for 1 hour.

While dough rises, prepare cookie dough by mixing butter, sugars, vanilla, eggs, flour, baking soda, and chocolate chips.

Preheat oven to 425F.

Divide pretzel dough into 8 pieces, roll each into a rectangle. Spread cookie dough down the center, roll into logs, and form pretzels.

Dunk each pretzel in water with baking soda, place on a baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle with sea salt.

Bake for 15-18 minutes, serve warm with cold milk
