Twix Cheesecake Delight

Ready to satisfy your sweet tooth? This Twix Cheesecake combines creamy indulgence with crunchy, chocolatey goodness! 襤

Ingredients:

– 24 oz 680g cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup 200g granulated sugar

– 3 large eggs

– 1 tsp vanilla extract

– cup 120ml heavy cream

– 4-5 Twix bars, chopped

– 2 cups 200g crushed chocolate graham crackers or digestive biscuits

– cup 115g unsalted butter, melted

– cup 120g caramel sauce

– 1 cup 175g milk chocolate chips, melted

– 1 cup 120g caramel sauce for topping

– Additional Twix bars, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

1. Begin by preheating your oven to 325F 160C.

2. For the crust, in a medium bowl, combine the crushed chocolate graham crackers with the melted butter. Stir until well mixed. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch 23cm springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.

3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

4. Add the eggs to the cream cheese mixture, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and heavy cream until everything is fully combined.

5. Gently fold in the caramel sauce along with the chopped Twix bars, ensuring even distribution throughout the filling.

6. Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. Place the springform pan inside a larger baking pan, then fill the larger pan with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the springform. This water bath method helps the cheesecake bake evenly.

7. Bake the cheesecake for 60-70 minutes. Its done when the edges are set, but the center still has a slight jiggle.

8. After baking, turn off the oven, crack the door open, and let the cheesecake cool inside the oven for about 1 hour.

9. Once cooled, remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it reach room temperature. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best results.

10. For the topping, after chilling, spread a layer of caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake. Drizzle the melted milk chocolate over this caramel layer. Finish by garnishing with additional chopped Twix bars.

11. Slice, serve, and enjoy the perfect blend of creamy, crunchy, and caramel goodness!
