The BEST Crab Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb imitation crab meat or real lump crab meat, shredded or chopped
cup mayonnaise adjust to taste
1 tsp Dijon mustard optional, for extra tang
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
cup celery, finely diced
cup red onion, finely diced
1 tbsp fresh parsley or dill, chopped
tsp Old Bay seasoning or to taste
tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce optional, for depth of flavor
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, celery, red onion, and fresh herbs.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
Pour the dressing over the crab mixture and gently fold everything together until well combined.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve chilled on crackers, as a sandwich filling, or over a bed of lettuce.
