Strawberry Cheesecake Rolls
These Strawberry Cheesecake Cinnamon Rolls combine soft dough, creamy cheesecake filling, and fresh strawberries for a delightful, sweet treat. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert!
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
1 cup warm milk about 110F 拏
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast 1 packet
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 杻
1 tsp salt 蓼
2 large eggs 讀讀
4 cups all-purpose flour
For the Filling:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 杻
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
8 oz cream cheese, softened 燎
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp milk 拏
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: 1/4 cup strawberry jam
Instructions:
1 Activate the Yeast: Mix the warm milk and sugar, then add the yeast. Let sit until frothy.
2 Make the Dough: Add melted butter, salt, eggs, and half the flour. Gradually mix in the remaining flour until dough forms. Knead until smooth and elastic.
3 Let it Rise: Let the dough rise in a greased bowl, covered, for about 1 hour.
4 Prepare the Filling: Mix softened butter, sugar, and cinnamon. In another bowl, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
5 Roll and Fill: Roll out the dough into a large rectangle 1612 inches. Spread the cinnamon butter mixture, then the cream cheese mixture, and sprinkle the diced strawberries.
6 Roll and Slice: Roll the dough tightly into a log, then cut into 12 slices. Place in a greased baking dish.
7 Let Rise Again: Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
8 Bake: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
9 Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Optionally, add strawberry jam for extra flavor. Drizzle over the warm rolls.
