Strawberry and Chocolate Layered Cake
Ingredients:
2 chocolate sponge cakes
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
2 cups whipped cream
1 cup strawberry mousse
100g dark chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup melted chocolate for drizzle
Instructions:
1. Place the first chocolate sponge cake on a serving plate.
2. Spread a layer of strawberry mousse evenly over the cake.
3. Add a layer of whipped cream, followed by fresh strawberry slices.
4. Place the second chocolate sponge cake on top and repeat the layers of mousse, whipped cream, and strawberries.
5. Decorate the top with chopped dark chocolate, fresh strawberries, and drizzle with melted chocolate.
6. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving to let the layers set perfectly.
