Sticky BBQ Glazed Beef Bites
Ingredients:
500 g beef sirloin or ribeye, cut into bite-sized cubes
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
tsp black pepper
tsp smoked paprika
tsp garlic powder
For the Sticky BBQ Glaze:
cup BBQ sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
tsp chili flakes optional, for heat
Directions:
In a bowl, season the beef cubes with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
Sear the beef cubes for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned but still tender. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add all the glaze ingredients: BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and chili flakes. Stir and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Return the beef to the pan and toss to coat in the sticky glaze. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and caramelizes slightly.
Serve immediately with chopped fresh parsley or sesame seeds as garnish.
