Snowy Oreo Pinecones: Festive, Fun, and Delicious!

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Servings: 6 pinecones

籠 Ingredients:

308g approximately 2 packs or 10.8 oz Oreo cookies

150g cup full-fat cream cheese, softened

55g 2 oz Coco Pops Chocos cereal or similar chocolate cereal

Icing sugar, for dusting

Instructions:

Prepare the Base:

Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Using a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese. Mix until a sticky dough forms.

Shape the Pinecones:

Divide the dough into six equal portions.

Shape each portion into a pear-like form, resembling the core of a pinecone.

Place the shaped cores onto the prepared baking tray.

Assemble the Pinecones:

Starting from the base of each core, gently press the chocolate cereal pieces into the dough, slightly overlapping them to mimic pinecone scales.

Continue layering the cereal pieces until the entire surface is covered, creating a realistic pinecone appearance.

Add the Snowy Finish:

Lightly dust the assembled pinecones with icing sugar to give them a snowy effect.

For best results, chill the pinecones in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to firm up before serving.
