Slow Cooker Beef & Noodles
Ingredients
2 lbs beef stew meat or chuck roast, cut into chunks
1 small onion, diced
3 cups beef broth
1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
1 packet 1 oz dry onion soup mix
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
8 oz egg noodles
cup sour cream optional, for creaminess
Fresh parsley, for garnish optional
Instructions
Prepare the Beef: Place the beef stew meat in the slow cooker. Add the diced onion, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix, garlic powder, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender and easy to shred.
Shred the Beef: Use two forks to shred the beef directly in the slow cooker.
Cook the Noodles: About 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Drain and add them to the slow cooker. Stir well.
Make it Creamy Optional: If you want a creamier dish, stir in cup sour cream before serving.
