Seafood Platter with Crispy Calamari and Prawns
Ingredients:
For the Platter:
500g large prawns, cleaned and deveined
300g calamari rings
300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 eggs, beaten
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
For the Dipping Sauce:
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp lime juice
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Seafood:
Season the prawns, calamari, and shrimp with salt and pepper.
Coat each piece in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and cover with breadcrumbs.
2. Fry the Seafood:
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Fry the seafood in batches until golden and crispy. Place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
3. Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and lime juice. Garnish with chopped parsley.
4. Assemble the Platter:
Arrange the fried calamari, prawns, and shrimp on a large serving plate.
Place the dipping sauce in the center. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
