Salted Caramel Banana Bread

4 ripe bananas, mashed

For the Glaze:
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter 杻
2 tablespoons heavy cream 拏
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 蓼
Instructions
1 Prep: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2 Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
3 Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together brown sugar and butter until smooth.
4 Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream, mashed bananas, and vanilla.
5 Combine Mixtures: Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
6 Bake: Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool slightly.
7 Prepare Glaze: In a small saucepan, melt brown sugar and butter over medium heat until it reaches a boil. Cook for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
8 Finish Glaze: Stir in heavy cream, then mix in powdered sugar and salt until smooth. Let cool for 5 minutes.
9 Drizzle: Pour the glaze over the warm banana bread.
