Ingredients:

For the Martini:

2 oz vanilla vodka

1 oz Irish cream liqueur e.g., Baileys

1 oz chocolate liqueur e.g., crème de cacao

1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half

34 drops red food coloring adjust for desired color

Ice cubes

For Garnish:

Red velvet cake crumbs or red sanding sugar enough to coat the rim

Whipped cream optional, for topping

Mini chocolate shavings or a small piece of red velvet cake optional, for decoration


Directions:

Prepare the Glass:

Dip the rim of a chilled martini glass into simple syrup, then into crushed red velvet cake crumbs or red sanding sugar to coat. Set aside.

Mix the Martini:

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.

Add the vanilla vodka, Irish cream liqueur, chocolate liqueur, heavy cream or half-and-half, and red food coloring.

Shake:

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 1520 seconds until well-chilled.

Optional Decoration:

Drizzle chocolate syrup along the inside of the prepared martini glass to create decorative swirls.

Serve:

Strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared martini glass.

Top with whipped cream, mini chocolate shavings, or a small piece of red velvet cake, if desired.
