Recipe
If you have five minutes and a blender, you can make these beautiful Strawberry Mimosas. To add the sweet flavor of fresh berries, substitute strawberry puree for the orange juice in the classic mimosa.
Time & Servings:
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 6 cocktails
Ingredients:
3 cups frozen strawberries
2 tablespoons sugar adjust to taste
1 bottle 750 ml chilled champagne, prosecco, brut, cava, or sparkling wine
Garnishes:
Fresh whole strawberries
Orange slices
Fresh mint sprigs
Instructions:
Prepare the Strawberry Puree:
In a blender, combine the frozen strawberries, sugar, and 1 cup of the chilled champagne.
Blend on high until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add an additional 1/4 cup of champagne to achieve a pourable consistency.
Assemble the Mimosas:
Fill each champagne flute halfway with the strawberry puree.
Top off the glass with the remaining chilled champagne, pouring slowly to maintain the bubbles.
Garnish and Serve:
Gently stir the mimosa to combine the layers.
Garnish with a fresh strawberry, an orange slice, or a sprig of mint on the rim of the glass.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Pro Tip:
For an extra frosty experience, ensure your champagne is well-chilled before preparation. Holding the glass at a 45-degree angle while pouring the champagne can help preserve the carbonation and prevent excessive foaming.
Cheers to delightful sips and memorable moments! 壟
