Pesto Pizza

Ingredients:

1 batch pizza dough homemade or store-bought

1/2 cup pesto sauce

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions:


Preheat the oven to 475F 245C.

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.

Spread a layer of pesto sauce over the pizza dough.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the pesto.

Scatter halved cherry tomatoes on top and drizzle lightly with olive oil.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden.

Once out of the oven, sprinkle with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese.

Slice and enjoy!
