Pesto Pasta
Fresh, vibrant, and bursting with basil flavora quick and classic dish everyone will love!
Ingredients:
12 oz pasta spaghetti, penne, or your choice
2 cups fresh basil leaves
龍 2 cloves garlic
樂 1/4 cup pine nuts or walnuts
燎 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/3 cup olive oil
蓼 Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1 Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
2 In a blender or food processor, combine basil, garlic, pine nuts, parmesan, salt, and pepper. Pulse until finely chopped.
3 Slowly add olive oil while blending until smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed.
4 Toss the cooked pasta with pesto, adding reserved pasta water for a silkier texture.
5 Serve immediately, garnished with extra parmesan and basil if desired.
