One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz egg noodles
cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
teaspoon salt
teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, then sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Add egg noodles to the skillet, ensuring they are submerged in the liquid. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes until cooked through.
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
