Lemon Ginger Iced Green Tea with Honey Unbelievably good
Ingredients:
4 cups water
3 green tea bags
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced
1/4 cup honey or to taste
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Ice cubes
Lemon slices optional, for garnish
Directions:
Boil the Water: In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Steep the Tea & Ginger: Remove the pan from heat, add the green tea bags and sliced ginger, and let it steep for 5-7 minutes. The longer it steeps, the stronger the flavor will be.
Sweeten with Honey: Remove the tea bags and ginger slices. While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey until fully dissolved.
Add Lemon Juice: Let the tea cool for a few minutes, then add the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir well.
Chill the Tea: Transfer the tea to a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until chilled.
Serve Over Ice: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over them. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
Enjoy! Sip and refresh yourself with this invigorating and healthy iced tea.
