Lemon Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

Soft and flaky crescent rolls filled with a creamy, tangy lemon filling, topped with a sweet lemon glaze. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert!

Ingredients:

1 can crescent rolls

Filling:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons sugar

1/4 teaspoon lemon extract

Zest of 1/2 lemon

Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice


Zest of 1/2 lemon

Instructions:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C.

Make the Lemon Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, lemon extract, and lemon zest until smooth.

Fill the Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place a spoonful of the lemon filling on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up each crescent starting from the wide end to enclose the filling.

Bake: Place the filled crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12 minutes, or until golden brown.

Prepare the Lemon Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.

Glaze and Serve: Drizzle the lemon glaze over each warm crescent roll. Serve fresh and enjoy the sweet, tangy treat!
