HOT FUDGE PIE
An easy, decadent dessert with a fudgy, gooey center thats irresistible. Perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream!
Ingredients:
1 stick 1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 350F 175C and lightly grease an 8-inch pie pan with butter or cooking spray.
Prepare the Batter:
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then mix gently by hand until well combined.
Mix in Dry Ingredients:
Stir in the cocoa powder, salt, and flour by hand until the batter is smooth and gooey. Mixing by hand helps keep the texture rich and fudgy.
Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared pie pan and spread it evenly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly soft to touch.
Serve:
Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream for the ultimate treat. Enjoy every fudgy bite!
