Green Grinch Punch
Ingredients:
1 12 oz can frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1 2-liter bottle lemon-lime soda e.g., Sprite or 7-Up, chilled
1 quart lime sherbet
1 cup pineapple juice, chilled
1/2 cup heavy cream optional, for creamier punch
Red sanding sugar optional, for glass rim
Maraschino cherries or candy hearts for garnish
Directions:
Optional: Prepare the glasses by dipping the rims in water and then coating them with red sanding sugar. Set aside.
In a large punch bowl, combine the limeade concentrate and pineapple juice. Stir until fully blended.
Gradually add the lemon-lime soda to the punch bowl, mixing gently to preserve the fizz.
Scoop the lime sherbet into the punch bowl, allowing it to float and melt slightly to create a frothy effect.
For a creamier punch, stir in the heavy cream optional.
Serve in prepared glasses, garnished with a maraschino cherry or candy heart for a festive touch.
