180g butter, chopped, softened
2/3 cup caster sugar
1 egg, at room temperature
2 cups plain flour, sifted
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup chopped dates or mixed dried fruit
1 cup cornflakes, crushed
Directions:

Preheat your oven to 180C 350F.
Line two baking trays with baking paper.
