German Chocolate Poke Cake
An enticing sweet treat, this German chocolate cake is soaked in luscious caramel and crowned with a delightful pecan-coconut topping.
Necessary Components: :
German Cake Mix.
Condensed Milk.
Vegetable Oil.
3 large eggs.
1 1/2 cups of water.
1 cup of caramel sauce.
1 cup of chopped pecans.
1 cup of sweetened shredded coconut.
1/2 cup of butter, softened.
4 cups of powdered sugar.
1/4 cup of milk.
Preparation Guide: :
Heat oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
In a bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, water, and oil until smooth.
Pour the smooth batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Test by inserting a toothpick.
Let the cake cool for about 5 minutes after baking.
Blend together condensed milk and half a cup caramel sauce until smooth.
Poke holes across the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon.
Apply the caramel blend evenly over the cake.
Cream butter in a separate bowl, then mix in powdered sugar, milk, and the rest of the caramel sauce until smooth.
