Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Creamy Parmesan Shells
Ingredients:
For the Steak Bites:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
For the Creamy Parmesan Shells:
8 oz pasta shells
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
Directions:
Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Sear the Steak Bites: Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites, season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and Italian seasoning. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Return steak bites to the skillet, toss to coat, and remove from heat.
Prepare the Parmesan Sauce: In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in heavy cream and milk, bringing to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
Combine & Serve: Toss the cooked pasta shells in the creamy Parmesan sauce. Serve with garlic butter steak bites on top, garnished with fresh parsley.
