Fruit and Nut Cookies
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda 籠
1/4 tsp salt 蓼
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 杻
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg 讀
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup dried fruits cherries, apricots, cranberries
1/2 cup chopped nuts almonds, pecans
1/2 cup white or dark chocolate chunks
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. 籠蓼
3. In a separate bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well. 杻讀
4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients. Fold in dried fruits, nuts, and chocolate chunks.
5. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the baking sheet, spacing them apart. 籠
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
