Floral Blossom Dessert Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp baking powder

A few drops of green food coloring
A few drops of pink food coloring
Buttercream frosting white and pink for petals

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Base: Preheat your oven to 350F 180C. Grease and line a square baking pan with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well mixed. Add the softened butter, milk, and a few drops of green food coloring. Stir until the batter is smooth and homogeneous.
2. Bake the Base: Pour the prepared batter into the lined baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Once done, allow the base to cool completely in the pan before cutting it into squares.
3. Make the Whipped Frosting: In another bowl, beat the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and a few drops of pink food coloring using an electric mixer. Continue beating until stiff peaks form, which will give your frosting a light and airy texture.
4. Assemble the Blossoms: Take each square of the cooled base and spread a thin layer of whipped frosting on top. Using a piping bag fitted with a petal tip, pipe pink buttercream petals over the whipped frosting, layering them to create a beautiful blooming flower appearance.
5. Decorate with Elegance: Place edible pearls in the center of each flower and sprinkle a touch of gold glitter or edible sprinkles around for a sparkling finish.
