Elf Snack Mix – Sweet, Crunchy, and Fun!
Ingredients:
3 cups pretzel twists
3 cups Chex cereal rice or corn
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 cup mini M&Ms or holiday M&Ms
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Red and green sprinkles optional for extra holiday cheer
Directions:
Prepare the Base Mix:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the pretzel twists, Chex cereal, mini marshmallows, and mini M&Ms. Set aside.
Melt the Coating:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and peanut butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth and creamy.
Add Vanilla:
Stir the vanilla extract into the melted white chocolate and peanut butter mixture until well combined.
Coat the Mix:
Pour the melted mixture over the snack mix and gently toss to coat evenly. Be sure all pieces are covered for maximum flavor.
Spread and Cool:
Spread the coated mix onto a parchment-lined baking sheet or large tray. Let it cool and set for a few minutes.
Add Powdered Sugar:
Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the mix and toss again to coat. Add red and green sprinkles for extra holiday cheer.
