Crispy Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

8 chicken drumsticks

2 cups buttermilk

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup cornflakes, crushed

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp black pepper


1/2 tsp salt

Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

1. Soak the chicken drumsticks in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

2. In a bowl, mix flour, crushed cornflakes, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.

3. Remove the drumsticks from the buttermilk, letting the excess drip off, then coat them evenly in the flour mixture.

4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 175C 350F. Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and fully cooked, about 12-15 minutes.

5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
