Creamy Meatloaf with Herb Sauce
Ingredients:
500g ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 egg
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
For the sauce:
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated parmesan
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180C 350F.
2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
4. For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic powder, then stir in heavy cream and parmesan. Cook on low heat until the sauce thickens slightly.
5. Once the meatloaf is done, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Drizzle the creamy sauce over the slices and garnish with fresh parsley.
