Creamy Cajun Steak & Shrimp Alfredo with Spicy Garlic Butter Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Cajun Steak & Shrimp:
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks, sliced into strips
pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
teaspoon salt
teaspoon black pepper
teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
For the Pasta:
12 ounces fettuccine or linguine pasta
cup fresh parsley, chopped
cup cherry tomatoes, halved optional
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season steak and shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear steak strips for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
Return steak and shrimp to the skillet and mix gently.
Garnish with parsley and cherry tomatoes before serving.
