Christmas Ornament Oreo Treats
Ingredients:
1 package 15.25 oz Oreo cookies
2 cups white chocolate chips or candy melts
Mini Reeses cups halved
Red and green mini M&Ms
Festive sprinkles red, green, gold, etc.
Edible glitter optional
Parchment paper
Instructions:
Melt the Chocolate:
Place the white chocolate chips or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt in 15-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
Dip the Oreos:
Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each Oreo cookie into the melted white chocolate, ensuring its fully coated. Gently tap the fork on the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
Place the coated Oreos on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Decorate:
While the chocolate is still wet, press half a mini Reeses cup at the top edge of each Oreo to resemble the ornament cap.
Add mini M&Ms in rows, festive sprinkles, or edible glitter to decorate the ornaments. Get creative with your designs!
Set the Cookies:
Allow the cookies to set at room temperature or place them in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
Serve:
