Christmas Fudge
Can you believe Christmas is almost here? This festive fudge is delicious all year round!
Ingredients:
3 cups white chocolate chips
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dark red food coloring
1/4 cup holiday sprinkles optional, for decoration
Instructions:
Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving extra paper over the edges to easily lift the fudge out later.
Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over low, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Add Color: Divide the melted mixture into two bowls. Tint one with red food coloring, leaving the other bowl plain.
Layer the Fudge: Pour the red-colored fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading evenly. Top with the plain fudge, then gently swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect, or leave in two layers.
Decorate: Sprinkle with holiday sprinkles while the fudge is still warm, if desired.
Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, until firm. Once set, lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper and cut into small squares.
Prep Time: 10 minutes plus chilling
Total Time: 2 hours 10 minutes
Yields: 24 pieces
