4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 cups grated Parmesan cheese

teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

cup whole milk if needed, to adjust sauce consistency

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Alfredo Sauce

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly.

Add grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens about 35 minutes.

If the sauce feels too thick, stir in milk to reach the desired consistency. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 2: Assemble the Lasagna

Preheat the oven to 375F 190C.

Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with cooking spray or butter.

Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of the dish.

Place three no-cook lasagna noodles over the sauce.

Spread a layer of shredded chicken evenly over the noodles.

Dollop spoonfuls of ricotta cheese over the chicken and spread gently.

Sprinkle a handful of shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Pour a layer of Alfredo sauce over the cheese, ensuring it covers the layers completely.

Repeat the process with the next two layers noodles, chicken, ricotta, cheeses, and sauce.

For the final layer, add noodles, cover with Alfredo sauce, and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

Step 3: Bake

Cover the lasagna with aluminum foil avoid touching the cheese to prevent sticking.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 1015 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.

Step 4: Serve

Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.

Tips

For extra flavor, you can mix cooked spinach or sautéed mushrooms with the chicken layer.

If you prefer a shortcut, store-bought Alfredo sauce works well as a replacement for homemade.
