Chocolate-Covered Raspberry Martini
Ingredients:
2 oz vodka plain or chocolate-flavored
1 oz raspberry liqueur e.g., Chambord
1 oz white crème de cacao or chocolate syrup
1 oz raspberry puree or raspberry syrup
1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half optional, for a richer texture
Ice enough to fill the shaker halfway
For Garnish:
Crushed chocolate or cocoa powder for rimming the glass
Chocolate syrup optional, for drizzle
Fresh raspberries 23, for garnish
Chocolate shavings or a chocolate-dipped raspberry optional
Directions:
Prepare the Glass:
Dip the rim of a martini glass in melted chocolate or raspberry syrup, then coat it with cocoa powder or fine sugar.
Optionally, drizzle chocolate syrup inside the glass in a swirl pattern for added flair.
Place the glass in the freezer to chill while preparing the cocktail.
Mix the Drink:
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with fresh ice.
Add the vodka, raspberry liqueur, crème de cacao or chocolate syrup, and raspberry puree or syrup.
If desired, add the heavy cream for a creamier texture.
Shake it Up:
Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for 1520 seconds to thoroughly chill and combine the ingredients.
Serve:
Using a strainer, pour the cocktail mixture into the prepared, chilled martini glass.
Garnish and Enjoy:
Top with fresh raspberries on a skewer, chocolate shavings, or a chocolate-dipped raspberry.
For a dessert-like finish, optionally add a dollop of whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
