Chocolate-Covered Raspberry Martini

Ingredients:

2 oz vodka plain or chocolate-flavored

1 oz raspberry liqueur e.g., Chambord

1 oz white crème de cacao or chocolate syrup

1 oz raspberry puree or raspberry syrup

1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half optional, for a richer texture

Ice enough to fill the shaker halfway

For Garnish:

Crushed chocolate or cocoa powder for rimming the glass

Chocolate syrup optional, for drizzle

Fresh raspberries 23, for garnish

Chocolate shavings or a chocolate-dipped raspberry optional

Directions:

Prepare the Glass:

Dip the rim of a martini glass in melted chocolate or raspberry syrup, then coat it with cocoa powder or fine sugar.

Optionally, drizzle chocolate syrup inside the glass in a swirl pattern for added flair.

Place the glass in the freezer to chill while preparing the cocktail.

Mix the Drink:

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with fresh ice.

Add the vodka, raspberry liqueur, crème de cacao or chocolate syrup, and raspberry puree or syrup.

If desired, add the heavy cream for a creamier texture.

Shake it Up:

Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for 1520 seconds to thoroughly chill and combine the ingredients.

Serve:

Using a strainer, pour the cocktail mixture into the prepared, chilled martini glass.

Garnish and Enjoy:

Top with fresh raspberries on a skewer, chocolate shavings, or a chocolate-dipped raspberry.

For a dessert-like finish, optionally add a dollop of whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
