Chocolate Caramel Drip Cake
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour 北
1 3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2 eggs 讀
1 cup milk 拏
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
For the Filling:
1 cup caramel sauce
For the Chocolate Ganache:
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
For the Topping:
1/2 cup chopped nuts almonds, walnuts 樂
Grated coconut optional 便
Instructions:
1. Make the Cake: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease and flour two round cake pans. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract; mix well. Gradually stir in boiling water. Divide batter between pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool completely.
2. Prepare the Ganache: Heat the cream until steaming not boiling. Pour over the chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Let cool slightly to thicken.
3. Assemble the Cake: Place one cake layer on a stand. Spread caramel sauce evenly . Top with the second cake layer.
4. Drizzle Ganache: Pour the ganache over the cake, letting it drip down the sides.
5. Decorate: Sprinkle chopped nuts and grated coconut 樂便 over the top.
