Cheddar-Stuffed BBQ Bacon Bombs
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
tsp salt
tsp black pepper
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
12 slices bacon
cup BBQ sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
tsp red pepper flakes optional
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
Take a small portion of the beef mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a cube of cheddar cheese in the center and wrap the beef around it, forming a meatball. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
Wrap each meatball with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if needed.
In a small bowl, mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
Brush each bacon-wrapped meatball with the BBQ sauce mixture.
Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and beef is fully cooked.
Remove from oven, brush with extra BBQ sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm.
