Buttery Chicken with Soft, Velvety Noodles
Ingredients:
2 boneless chicken breasts
8 oz egg noodles
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 6-8 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add chicken broth and simmer for 3 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for another 2 minutes to thicken.
Add the cooked noodles and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
Slice the chicken and serve on top of the buttered noodles, garnished with fresh parsley.
