Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
